Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments warned that scattered thunderstorms are moving across portions of northeast Mississippi and could produce damaging wind gusts through the rest of the day.
The agencies said additional showers and thunderstorms remain possible for the remainder of the day. They identified damaging wind gusts as the primary concern with any thunderstorm through the evening.
Ken Adams, the Olive Branch Police Department and the Olive Branch Fire Department issued the notice to alert residents and local responders to the ongoing threat.
