The City of Olive Branch has opened a storm shelter at 9549 Pigeon Roost Road and will keep it open until the severe weather threat is resolved, the city said.
City officials urged residents to have multiple ways to receive severe-weather warnings and updates, the city said.
Residents can receive mobile alerts from the City of Olive Branch by texting “olivebranch” to 888777, the city said.
