Alison Mitchell of DeSoto County Tourism says chamber networking events are reshaping how the community treats visitors and helping drive tourism growth in Southaven.

The Southaven Chamber celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of LTresses Academy of Nails, saying the school will train aspiring nail artists and beauty professionals.

The Southaven Chamber announced the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Monster Mini Golf in Southaven, Mississippi, saying the venue will feature glow-in-the-dark mini golf and arcade games. The chamber encouraged residents to visit and welcomed the new business to the community.

United Way and DeSoto County Schools said they are collecting school supplies through the rest of June and will accept drop-offs at Horn Lake High School on July 1 for new teachers’ classrooms.
