Chamber networking credited with boosting Southaven tourism

Alison Mitchell of DeSoto County Tourism said chamber networking events are doing more than creating business contacts. They are changing how the community treats visitors and helping boost tourism in Southaven, she said.

“They shape how an entire community treats its visitors, and that ripple effect is driving real results for Southaven tourism,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell said the events foster relationships that influence local hospitality and visitor experiences. She credited those shifts with producing tangible benefits for the city’s tourism sector.

The Southaven Chamber of Commerce encouraged interested people to comment “JOIN” for more information about its activities, the chamber said.
