Officials working to stop precious metals scheme

State officials are working with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and 26 states to stop a $68 million precious metals scheme. Defendants were accused of targeting seniors or those close to retirement age, “preying on fears and jeopardized their fixed incomes.”
