Presley earns the endorsement of the Central South Carpenters
The Brandon Presley for Governor campaign announced the Democratic candidate has received the endorsement of the Central South Carpenters Regional Council. Presley is challenging incumbent Republican Gov. Tate Reeves in the November general election.
“There is no better candidate than Brandon Presley, who will fight for better wages and working conditions,” said Kavin Griffin, EST & CEO of Central South Carpenters Regional Council. “As governor, Brandon Presley will support union apprenticeship programs, wage protections of hardworking people, and infrastructure investment.”
“I’m proud to have the support of the Central South Carpenters Regional Council because I will always stand with working families,” said Presley. “I’ve been on the side of people who work for a living my entire career – from delivering high-speed broadband to the most remote parts of Mississippi to voting against more rate hikes than any Commissioner in state history. As governor, I’ll support policies that put Mississippians to work and keep workers safe on the job – and that’s why I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Central South Carpenters.”
The Central South Carpenters is a Regional Council within one of the largest trade Unions in America, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. They provide the best training and worker support in the construction trade throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas.
