Hernando Main Street Chamber announces nominees for annual awards luncheon

The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce announced nominees for its upcoming Best of Hernando annual awards luncheon, with honors planned in six categories. The chamber also encouraged attendees to register for the event.

Nominees for Outstanding Business of the Year are Mrs. Hippie Eats, Abes Construction Company and Midsouth Integrative Medical. The Outstanding Nonprofit nominees are Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi, The Hope Center of North Mississippi and Hernando Meals on Wheels.

The Bunker Boutique, Yo Bro Coffee Co. and Sweet Fizz Hernando are nominated for Outstanding Renovation. Home2 Suites by Hilton, Lost Pizza Co. Hernando, MS Electric Unlimited and Tractor Supply Co. Hernando are nominated for Best Development Project.

Nominees for Spirit of Main Street are Scott Smith of City of Hernando, MS – Government, Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: LeTicia Eldred and Jourdan Ohl of Magnolia Grace Media. The Citizen of the Year nominees are Anna Bell of Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center and Jenna Kern of Desoto County Dream Center.
