Political endorsements enter into primary campaigns
More endorsements are coming in from candidates as we enter the final weeks of the primary election campaign.
At the local level, Republican candidate for DeSoto County District Attorney Bob Morris posted on his Facebook page that he has received the endorsement of the Mississippi Police Benevolent Association.
W.I. “Doc” Harris, a Republican candidate for House District 28, recently received the endorsement of the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association.
Meanwhile, his Republican opponent John T. Williams was also endorsed by the Mississippi Police Benevolent Association.
State Sen. Kevin Blackwell (R-Southaven) has announced his endorsement and “A” rating from the National Rifle Association.
The National Rifle Association PAC has also endorsed Republican Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann in his reelection bid.
