TACKER NAMED TO WEEKLY HONOR: DeSoto Central senior setter Gracie Tacker has been named the MaxPreps/AVCA Mississippi Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 4. In 19 sets played during the week, Tacker had 144 assists for an average of 7.58 assists per game. Tacker made 22 digs for an average of 1.16 digs per game, served 16 aces and made five blocks.
