GAME NOTES: Reece Garrison (OB) scored eight of his game-high 17 points in the second half and six in the fourth quarter of the Conquistadors’ victory…Trey Wall (OB) scored eight of his 14 points in the first quarter, points that included one three-point basket…Jeremy Holloway (CH) hit four baskets for eight points in the second quarter of the game that brought the Mustangs within two of Olive Branch at halftime…Kaison Saunders (CH) tallied eight points in the third quarter and was 4-for-4 at the free throw line in the period…Amarion Davis (LHS) scored a pair of three-pointers in the first half and added a trio of two-point baskets in the third quarter against DeSoto Central…Bob Dickson Jr. (DC) had 12 of his 17 points against Lewisburg come in the second half, six in the third and six more in the fourth quarter…11 of KJ Patrick’s 17 points were in the second half against Lewisburg with seven points scored in the third quarter of play.

GAME NOTES: Taylor Ware (CH) scored eight of her 13 points in the fourth quarter of the Lady Mustangs’ victory…Madison Bush (CH) hit six of her 12 points in the third quarter against Olive Branch and had eight points in the second half…Madison Young (OB) hit two three-pointers among her game-high 17 points against Center Hill and netted six points in the final quarter of play.  Allie Carroll (LHS) had nine of her 14 points scored in the second half, seven of which were in the fourth quarter…Jamaiya Hasley (DC) hit 10 of her team-high 12 points after halftime, six of that total coming in the third quarter of action.

LEWISBURG COACHES EARN REGION HONORS: Region 2-6A Coaches of the Year named Tuesday evening both came from Lewisburg, as Kristen Coleman was named the girls’ Coach of the Year and Zach Jorgenson was tabbed as the boys’ Coach of the Year. All-Region team selections will be made Friday during the finals of the postseason tournament.
