Rangers football ranked third in first NJCAA rankings

Aug. 18, 2025 – Northwest Mississippi Community College is ranked third in the first NJCAA Division I national football rankings, released today.

Last season, the Rangers finished with an impressive 10–2 overall record and went undefeated 6–0 in conference play under head coach Benjy Parker. Northwest was ranked fourth in the final national rankings.

Here is the first preseason national rankings provided by the NJCAA. Defending national champion Hutchinson, Kansas was a unanimous number one.
