Following are the pairings for the first round of the MHSAA state basketball playoffs on Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15 for games involving DeSoto County schools.

First round boys’ playoff games in 7A on Saturday, Feb. 15

• DeSoto Central (R1-4) at Starkville (R2-1)
• Tupelo (R2-4) at Horn Lake (R1-1)
• Madison Central (R2-3) at Southaven (R1-2)

First round boys’ playoff games in 6A on Saturday, Feb. 15

• Callaway (R2-4) at Olive Branch (R1-1)
• Center Hill (R1-3) at Columbus (R2-2)
• Lake Cormorant (R1-4) at Ridgeland (R2-1)

First round girls’ playoff games in 7A on Friday, Feb. 14

• Clinton (R2-4) at Hernando (R1-1)
• Southaven (R1-3) at Tupelo (R2-2)
