Memphis Hustle deal with Grand Rapids Gold

The Memphis Hustle has acquired guard Adonis Arms and the returning player rights to guard Davon Reed from the Grand Rapids Gold for the Hustle’s first round pick in the 2023 NBA G League Draft and the returning player rights to guard Ahmad Caver. In addition, the Hustle have released guard Jacob Young.
Arms (6-6, 205) has appeared in 21 regular season games (17 starts) and has averaged 13.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 27.0 minutes for the Gold. The 24-year-old Milwaukee native, who went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Texas Tech, averaged 11.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 18 games (eight starts) during the 2022 NBA G League Showcase Cup.
Reed (6-5, 208) has competed in 86 regular season games (82 starts) over four NBA G League seasons with the Northern Arizona Suns, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Sioux Falls Skyforce and Gold. The 27-year-old New Jersey native also has played 117 games (seven starts) over three NBA seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers since he was selected 32nd overall in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Miami.
Caver (6-2, 175) appeared in 83 regular season games (31 starts) in three seasons with the Hustle and averaged 13.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.5 steals in 29.6 minutes. The 26-year-old Georgia native, who currently plays for the BC Wolves of the Lithuanian LKL, went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft out of Old Dominion.
Young (6-2, 185) appeared in four regular season games for the Hustle and averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 assists in 6.2 minutes.
