Oct. 15, 2024 – For the second time this season, Northwest freshman midfielder Emma Jensen has earned MACCC Offensive Player of the Week honors, the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference announced on Tuesday morning.
Jensen finished the week with four goals in victories against No. 20 Itawamba and fourth-ranked Holmes, including a hat trick in the win against the Lady Indians. The Gammelby, Germany native also scored on a penalty kick early in the second half at Holmes, giving Northwest the lead and eventual victory.
Jensen was previously voted as the MACCC Offensive Player of the Week on October 1 after combining for two goals and three assists against Pearl River and Mississippi Gulf Coast. For the season, she leads the team in goals scored (11) and assists (7).
