80-foot bridge installed on Lick Creek trail in Olive Branch
The installation of an 80-foot pedestrian bridge marks a major step for the Lick Creek Pedestrian Trail project in Olive Branch, Mississippi, Fisher Arnold said in a post.
Fisher Arnold said the project includes 0.8 miles of 10-foot-wide asphalt trail, the 80-foot bridge, trailhead amenities and scenic overlook areas.
When connected to the existing trail network, the corridor will extend beyond 2 miles, and Fisher Arnold said future phases would create a loop of more than 6 miles with additional connections to on-street bicycle facilities.
Fisher Arnold said it provided planning, design and construction oversight for the project and thanked the City of Olive Branch, the Mississippi Department of Transportation and Alexander Construction for their partnership.
