Hustle open registration for Hustle Cubs Reading Club

The Memphis Hustle opened registration today for the third annual Hustle Cubs Reading Club program. Teachers and students are encouraged to register here by Friday, Sept. 15 to be eligible for the program.

Hustle Cubs Reading Club is a program to encourage students to read 30 minutes a day for six weeks, totaling 1,260 minutes, starting Monday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Dec. 3.

The school with the highest completion percentage will be awarded a Hustle pep rally. The top three classrooms with the highest completion percentage will be rewarded with a pizza party.

Each student who completes the Hustle Cubs Reading Club challenge by reading 1,260 minutes throughout the six-week period will receive one (1) complimentary ticket* to a Memphis Hustle home game during the 2023-24 season. Additionally, teachers that have 50 percent or more of registered Hustle Cubs Reading Club students complete the 1,260-minute challenge will receive two (2) complimentary tickets* to a Memphis Hustle home game during the 2023-24 season.

*excludes annual Financial Day game

Grades K-8 are eligible for the Hustle Cubs Reading Club, but all grades are encouraged to reach the 1,260-minute reading goal.
