HOOPS ETC.: The Lighthouse Classic basketball tournament, benefiting the Lighthouse Foundation in Corinth, Friday canceled the 2020 event. The Center Hill boys basketball team, last year’s MHSAA 5A state runner-up, was to play McGill-Toolen, Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 28. In announcing the decision, organizers said rapidly rising COVID-19 cases were behind the move.
