Prep baseball
Jackson Prep 13, Northpoint Christian 9
Note: Northpoint led 4-2 after three innings but Jackson Prep scored six runs in the fourth to break open the contest. The Trojans’ offense was led by Carson Jones with two hits and two RBIs. Nolan Bone also drove in a pair of runs. Vail Perkins took the mound loss for Northpoint with six runs allowed, three of them earned, in three innings of work. Perkins struck out two and walked two.
Prep softball
Center Hill 9. Strayhorn 6
Note: Reagan Ryan had three RBIs with a double and triple and scored twice in the win for Center Hill. Neveah Bussell also doubled. The Lady Mustangs scored seven times in the fourth inning of the four-inning game.
Wynne, Ark. 13, Lake Cormorant 2
Note: Wynne scored in each inning of the three-inning contest. Lake Cormorant scored single runs in the first and in the third inning. Brook Irvin and Alivia Burns collected hits for the Lady Gators, with Irvin getting a double. Alyssa Boswood gave up eight runs, three of them earned, and struck out one in two innings pitching in the circle.
