Thursday volleyball slate spans DeSoto County as Wednesday finals await reports

DeSoto Central, Center Hill, Lake Cormorant, Horn Lake and Southaven return to varsity volleyball Thursday, Sept. 24. Friday’s football schedule includes two county matchups: Lewisburg at Center Hill and Southaven at Lake Cormorant.

No Sept. 23 varsity final was verified by this edition. Lewisburg’s district volleyball match at Hernando, scheduled for 6 p.m., is result not yet reported on its match page; Hernando High confirmed the fixture. Northpoint Christian’s scheduled boys and girls cross-country meet and Lewisburg’s varsity girls golf appearance at the Madison Central Invitational also have results not yet reported. A late result from Sept. 22 is verified: Olive Branch beat Saltillo 3–1 in girls volleyball. That result is dated separately from Wednesday’s events. Northpoint’s Sept. 22 volleyball match with Evangelical Christian remains result not yet reported.
