Southaven, Northpoint open Monday volleyball slate; county matchups follow Tuesday

Southaven hosts Tupelo and Northpoint Christian travels to Jackson Christian at 6 p.m. Monday, opening a week that brings two DeSoto County volleyball matchups Tuesday and two county football games Friday.

The Chargers' match is listed on Southaven's official varsity schedule. Northpoint's athletics calendar confirms its trip to Jackson Christian and a girls golf event at Audubon at 4 p.m. Monday against St. Mary's, St. Agnes, Fayette Academy and Tipton Christian.

Tuesday's volleyball schedule includes Hernando at DeSoto Central and Horn Lake at Southaven, both at 6 p.m. Center Hill visits Grenada, Lake Cormorant visits Saltillo and Olive Branch hosts South Panola at the same time. Lewisburg travels to Tupelo for a 5:30 p.m. start.

Friday brings Hernando to Center Hill and Lake Cormorant to Horn Lake for 7 p.m. football kickoffs.
