County players part of Futsal Escola soccer semi-finalists

Playing with Futsal Escola, three DeSoto County soccer players were part of a team that reached the recently-played semi-finals of the Tennessee State Cup U18 Division I tournament at Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The three are Kaylee Redding and Larkyn Griffin of Lewisburg and DeSoto Central’s Isabella Rivino.

Futsal Escola lost to Clarksville SC 06 5-3 in the semifinals.

The team is part of the Futsal Escola competitive soccer program, part of a program that also is involved in futsal, an indoor version of soccer.
