When Olive Branch native and retired Super Bowl champion K.J. Wright returned recently for his second annual OBHS Alumni Charity Basketball Game, he visited Jackpot Bingo in Olive Branch to greet players and sign autographs.

A $10,000 check was also presented to Wright’s The Wright Way Foundation.  The money comes through the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi from the Delta Regional Foundation to support K.J.’s efforts.

The Wright Way Foundation was set up by Wright to offer programs and invest in youth in Olive Branch and in Seattle, where K. J. played most of his NFL career and now lives.

The OBHS Alumni Charity Basketball Game was played before a sold-out Charlie Bibbs Gymnasium at Olive Branch High School last week and featured former boys and girls standouts playing, a slam dunk contest and other activities.
