Tri-State Blues Festival Returns to Southaven Oct. 17
Southern soul and blues fans will fill Southaven’s biggest arena next month. The 23rd Annual Memphis Tri-State Blues Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 17, at Landers Center, bringing a lineup of well-known soul-blues performers to DeSoto County for one night of music.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30 p.m., according to the Landers Center event listing. The venue is at 4560 Venture Drive in Southaven.

This year’s bill features seven acts, with Henry Welch serving as host:

- King George
- Cecily Wilborn
- Glenn Jones
- Mike Clark Jr.
- West Love
- EJ Jones
The lineup leans on the Southern soul sound, a style rooted in the blues and R&B traditions of Mississippi, Memphis and the wider Mid-South. Now in its 23rd year, the festival draws fans from across the Tri-State area of Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas.
Tickets and suites
Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster. Landers Center says suites for the show are available through GoFevo for groups who want a private space. The event listing does not list ticket prices, so buyers should check Ticketmaster for current seating options and fees.

A busy October at Landers Center
The blues festival lands in the middle of a packed month for the Southaven venue. The Mid-South Fair opens on the Landers Center grounds Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 11, so the blues show follows less than a week after the fair wraps up.
For DeSoto County music fans, it’s also a chance to keep the season going after the Walls Delta Festival and the Hernando Water Tower Festival, both of which filled September weekends with live music.
