Teenager arrested in Horn Lake on murder charges

An arrest has been made in Horn Lake in connection with a murder case in Memphis.  

Caleb Hamer, age 14, is facing second-degree murder and aggravated burglary charges after his arrest in the 5700 block of Chance Drive North on Wednesday.  He reportedly tried to get away through a second-story window but was captured. 

U.S. Marshals made the arrest related to an April 11 shooting of Joseph Boose, age 18, in the Parkway Village area of Memphis. Boose was injured in the incident and died in a hospital from his wounds.
