Southaven to Resurface Airways Between Nail and Goodman; Work Expected to Start in October

Southaven officials said the city will begin resurfacing Airways between Nail Road and Goodman Road in October after receiving funding through a Metropolitan Planning Organization call for projects.

The city is accepting bids for the work and expects the project to be completed before the holiday shopping season, Southaven officials said.

Officials said the resurfacing was a top priority when the MPO issued its call for projects and that the funding award made the schedule possible.

Residents and contractors seeking bid notices or other updates were directed to sign up on the city’s “Notify Me” page at southaven.org/list.aspx, the city said.
