Road and parking work to begin at Renasant Park; brief skate park closure expected

Work to improve road access and parking will begin soon near the skate park at the eastern entrance off Highway 51, the park said.

The park said the skate park will remain open at first. Parking will be available at Hernando Self Storage Dog Park, the notice said.

The notice said access to the skate park will be temporarily closed for a few days later in the project while work moves closer to that area. It urged people to stay out of all restricted zones for safety.

The park said it will post updates as the project progresses and thanked the public for patience and cooperation.
