Southaven Police Department honors 72 officers who died on Sept. 11, 2001

The Southaven Police Department honored the memory of 72 law enforcement officers who died on Sept. 11, 2001, saying it remembers them with purpose.

The department said officers answer the call each day with a deep sense of responsibility. It also expressed solidarity with the families of those who died, citing sorrow, strength and hope.
