The Southaven Chamber of Commerce announced a Star Wars–inspired Par Wars: Golf and Games Tournament at Olive Branch Country Club, the chamber said in a social media post. Walk-On’s Southaven is listed as the presenting sponsor, and organizers said the event will combine business networking with themed entertainment.
The chamber said this years games will include pickleball powered by Bangers Pickleball and a costume contest for participants dressing as Jedi, Sith or other characters. Organizers described the event as an opportunity for high-energy networking with local professionals.
Breakfast will be provided by Coffee Central by Ethnos and lunch by Michael Hatcher & Associates-Memphis, the chamber said. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Southaven Chamber Foundation, according to the post.
The chamber said sponsorship opportunities remain available, from title sponsorships to hole and game sponsors, and that spots are limited. The post included a link for teams and sponsors to register and secure participation.
