Colonial Hills Church in Southaven will host a Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the church said. The free event is intended to serve families in the community, organizers said.
Organizers said attendees can receive free school supplies and shoes. Services such as haircuts and vision screenings will also be available, the church said.
All resources will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, the church said. Organizers asked people to register in advance to help with planning and provided an online registration link: https://colonialhillschurch.tpsdb.com/OnlineReg/1866.
Organizers encouraged residents to spread the word and bring friends to the event, the church said.
