School registrations to begin Monday for 2024-2025 school year

DeSoto County Schools will begin accepting registrations for students in the 2024-25 school year, starting Monday, June 10.

School offices in the district will be open between 8 a.m.-2 p.m. daily for registration and the Central Services office in Hernando will be open between 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. for student registration.

Some of the residency requirements for all students are two items showing proof of residency from a specific list below; a utility bill, DeSoto County automobile registration and government mailing documentation.

New students to the district will be their birth certificate, immunization certificate, Social Security card, and report card or transcript from their previous school if applicable.

Incoming seventh-graders will need to have a TDAP shot and new state immunization compliance Form 121.

A more detailed list of requirements is found here.
