Robinsonville Shooting Leaves One Dead, Two Injured — Suspect Markello Braxton Armed and Dangerous
ROBINSONVILLE, MS — July 11, 2025: A tragic shooting in Robinsonville has left one woman dead and two others — including a young child — critically injured, according to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 7:06 p.m. Friday evening at a residence located at 1060 Soleil Drive. Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired and arrived to find three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Tragically, 30-year-old Nykeria Jude was pronounced dead at the scene by Tunica County Coroner Glenn Grant. A 24-year-old Black male and a 6-year-old Black female were both airlifted for emergency medical care. The man was transported to Regional One Health, and the child was flown to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
Authorities have identified Markello Braxton, a Robinsonville resident, as the suspect in the shooting. He is currently wanted and considered armed and dangerous.
