Police in Hernando report missing man now found

UPDATE: Police late Monday morning reported that Daniels has been found.

This individual has been located and arrangements are being made to reunite with family.


ORIGINAL REPORT: The Hernando Police Department Monday reported that it was working on an active Missing Persons report for an elderly man missing since Christmas Day.

Alex Daniels, age 75, was last seen leaving a neighborhood in Olive Branch near Goodman and Center Hill roads enroute back to his home in Hernando about 5 p.m. on Sunday, Christmas Day.  

Police said Daniels was last known to be driving a white, 2014 Dodge Ram Dually with Mississippi license tag 1AH1507.  

Daniels is described as five feet, seven inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was wearing a pink shirt, gray or brown pants, and a tan coat. 

Anyone with information about Alex Daniels or his whereabouts is asked to call the Hernando Police Department at 662-429-9096.
