Olive Branch sets Community Christmas Tree Lighting for Dec. 3

The City of Olive Branch will hold its Community Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday, Dec. 3, on the front lawn of City Hall. The event is scheduled to begin around 5 p.m., with the Community Christmas Tree lighting at 7 p.m.

The city said the holiday event will feature live music, holiday treats and opportunities for photos with Santa. The announcement identifies Ken Adams as Olive Branch mayor.

Local nonprofits, churches and businesses can participate as vendors through Candy Lane, an extension of the tree-lighting event where organizations may host a Christmas-themed trunk to share information about their organization. Decorations must be family friendly.

Vendor registration ends Friday, Nov. 20. Interested participants should email info@obms.us. Vendor spaces are limited to 30 and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the city.
