Wreaths Across America will take place Saturday, Dec. 19, at Historic Blocker Cemetery, according to a post from the City of Olive Branch.
The city said 188 wreaths remain available for sponsorship to help recognize each veteran buried in Blocker Cemetery. Sponsors can purchase a wreath through the Wreaths Across America website at wreathsacrossamerica.org/msbloc.
The post, attributed to Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams, urged residents to participate during the next 60 days by finding a participating location, sponsoring veterans’ wreaths through a group supporting a local cemetery or volunteering at the Dec. 19 event.
