Olive Branch parks partially closed after July 4 storm

The City of Olive Branch said it is continuing work to restore park amenities after extensive storm damage on July 4.

The city said disc golf holes 1-3 are open, along with two- and three-court tennis courts, all pickleball courts, the track, athletic fields, a 2-mile walking trail and the existing walking trail at the soccer complex.

City officials said the remainder of the disc golf course and the nature trail are closed because of downed trees and hanging limbs. Olive Bark Park remained closed while repairs to the dog park fence are completed, the city said.

The city said contractors were continuing repairs and that crews were actively working on track resurfacing this week, with work occurring on Sept. 2.

The City of Olive Branch said, “We appreciate your patience!”
