Olive Branch crews restore water after College Hills main break
The City of Olive Branch said public works crews repaired a water main break in the College Hills Subdivision on Tuesday afternoon, April 28, and worked through storms overnight to ensure residents had water service the next morning.
The city said the repair required extensive digging. While crews worked, a resident dropped off pizza and drinks and prayed for their safety, the city said.
Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams, the Board of Aldermen and city officials expressed gratitude for the gesture and for the dedication of the public works team, the city said.
Staff who worked overnight included Lee Germany, Zack Lewis, Joe Cruz, Nick Bryan, Marissa Saturday, Curtis Aldridge, Dalton Houser, Justin Rose, Matt Crabb, Tedric Culp, James Moore, Steve Brigance and Michael Rikard, the city said.
