Olive Branch closes Eastover Boulevard after multiple utility poles damaged

Olive Branch closed Eastover Boulevard from English Oaks to Cedardale Drive after multiple electrical poles were damaged, Mayor Ken Adams said.

Adams said the city has shut down the road and notified Northcentral Electric Cooperative, which is en route to the scene.

He asked residents and motorists to avoid the area while crews respond and repairs are assessed, Adams said.

Adams thanked residents for their patience, according to the City of Olive Branch government statement.
