Northwest Mississippi Community College advisors say student care motivates their work

Advisors at Northwest Mississippi Community College shared why they do their work, and their responses underscore a commitment to students, the college said.

The college said it asked advisors to share their “why,” and added that their answers “remind us just how much they care about the students they serve.”

Students with questions were invited to contact an advisor by phone at 662-562-3268 or by email at advising@northwestms.edu, the college said.

The college encouraged students to reach out to advisors for assistance with academic planning and related concerns, the statement said.
