New Albany Main Street announced that its Downtown & Around Holiday Marketing Campaign received the Mississippi Main Street Association’s Outstanding Marketing Campaign Award, the organization said.
The campaign aimed to showcase downtown New Albany as a holiday destination and support local businesses during the shopping season, New Albany Main Street said. Events included the annual Holiday Open House, a Community Tree Lighting and the Turkey to Tinsel shopping promotion.
New Albany Main Street said the effort used strategic branding, digital marketing and community-focused storytelling to increase awareness and encourage local shopping. The organization said the campaign generated strong community engagement, thousands of online interactions and significant visibility for downtown businesses.
New Albany Main Street thanked the Mississippi Main Street Association and local partners for the recognition, naming New Albany City Hall, the New Albany Gazette and Visit New Albany, the organization said.
