Memphis rapper indicted on felony drug charge in DeSoto County

A Memphis rapper is facing felony drug charges in DeSoto County from a case that dates back to 2022.
Terrica Alexander, age 29 and known in the music world as Jucee Froot, was indicted by a DeSoto County grand jury. Alexander is alleged to knowingly have in possession nearly nine grams of Psilocybin, also known as “Magic Mushrooms.” The drug is consumed for its hallucinogenic effects.
The case dates back to an August 2022 traffic stop of a vehicle Alexander was a passenger in, when deputies found the vehicle displaying a paper tag. Deputies said they found the drugs in Alexander’s possession at the time of the traffic stop.
Alexander posted bond when she was arrested in 2022 and remains out on bond. She is facing up to eight years in prison if convicted.
Alexander is best known for contributing songs to various film and TV soundtracks, such as “Danger” from Birds of Prey, “Eat Itself” from Insecure, and “Down in the Valley” from P-Valley.
