Light Garden raises funds for Make-A-Wish during recent 5K race

Light Garden raised $8,000 during the recent Light Garden 5K run, weaving through City Park and the downtown area of the Olive Branch for the cause of Make-A-Wish. A total of 220 runners, spanning all ages, dashed through the event, which was held on Friday, Dec. 13.

Promoters call the Light Garden the Mid-South’s most immersive light show, spanning 1.5 miles of dazzling lights, photo ops, and festive entertainment. Live music, holiday characters, and special events are scheduled throughout the season.

Light Garden also offers free admission for all nurses, teachers, police officers, fire fighters, and active/retired military– this includes all nights and special events– with IDs at the front gate.
