Northwest Mississippi Community College’s Heindl Center for the Performing Arts is proud to announce Lee Brice is coming on Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. during his “You, Me, and My Guitar” tour.

Lee Brice is known for his country music tunes like “Hard to Love”, and “Parking Lot Party” and “Love Like Crazy.”

He’s won various awards for his songs like “I Drive Your Truck” which he won an Academy of Country Music Song of the Year Award. The song is based on a real-life story of a soldier and was featured on his album “Hard 2 Love.”

Before his country music career, he played on the Clemson football team and is a native of Sumter South Carolina. His football career ended due to injury, but it allowed for his music career to really take off. After the injury, Brice headed to Nashville to pursue his lifelong passion of music.

“On Saturday, Feb. 15, we welcome best-selling country star Lee Brice to the Heindl Center for an acoustic concert on his You, Me, & My Guitar tour,” said Dr. Blake Bostick, director of the Heindl Center. “Lee Brice is a Grammy nominee and CMA and ACM award winner with multiple number one hits, including ‘One of Them Girls,’ ‘Memory I Don’t Mess With,’ ‘Hard to Love,’ and ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’ with Carly Pearce. This show also features a special opening performance by rising country singer Timothy Wayne. Put on your cowboy boots and join us on Feb. 15 for Lee Brice.”
