Juveniles caught stealing items from Southaven neighborhood vehicles

Nov 19, 2024- Two juveniles are in custody and charged with burglary of an auto in connection with a spate of burglaries in an area of Southaven Tuesday morning.

Southaven police say officers were called to the area of Olivia Lane and Pinnacle Drive after being made aware of the auto burglaries. While taking reports, a resident told officers they saw a suspect looking over the resident’s fence and then take off through backyards.

The officers spotted two suspects jumping fences and running through additional backyards and a perimeter was then set up to find them.  They were found a short time later in a back yard shed, police say they found items from vehicles they had broken into, and the juveniles were taken into custody.
