Hernando aldermen to meet Tuesday

The Hernando Board of Aldermen will have a busy meeting agenda for its Tuesday meeting.

Board members will meet at 6 p.m. at Hernando City Hall. Agenda items will include a discussion on the drawings and estimates for the intersection of Holly Springs Road and McIngvale Road.

Other items will include permission to advertise for bids for the improvement of the soccer fields’ parking lot, approval to add and advertise for a Utility Billing Clerk position in the water department at City Hall, and a request from American Service LLC to reject their bid for the asphalt paving and milling streets project. Their bid was the lowest of two bids received, but American Services has informed the City that the firm price for the asphalt material was changed after bidding the project.

The complete agenda is found on the City of Hernando website
