Guardsmen and families served holiday meal in Hernando

On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Hernando Veterans Parade Committee contributed to the Army National Guard Family Christmas event for Company C 2-198th Combined Arms Battalion at the Hernando Armory. 

Lunch was provided for the 150 in attendance, along with words of Christmas cheer and music from Longview Point Baptist Church.

Santa, Mrs Claus and their elf helper handed out festively wrapped gifts to the 50 plus children who were there to provide a heart warming way to start the holidays.
