Groundbreaking for new Baptist Medical Group building
Baptist Medical Group is to hold a groundbreaking event Thursday for a new medical office building near its hospital campus at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven.
The 2:30 p.m. event will break ground on a new medical office building that will offer urgent care and several specialty services.
The groundbreaking will take place at the open field across from Baptist-DeSoto’s parking lot.
Baptist Cancer Center-DeSoto is relocating to the new building. In addition, the medical building will house an urgent care center, an outpatient imaging center and a Baptist Medical Group-Memphis Lung Physicians office.
