Groundbreaking was held earlier this week for an Olive Branch IT support services company that is expanding in the city.
Goodwin PC Services that provides small businesses their technology support needs, said owner Brian Eason.
“We provide IT services and support,” Eason said. “The goal ultimately is to empower small businesses to succeed in their goals, because everything relies on technology today. We’re good at technology and its implementation as our service.”
The company started in 1996 and today, according to its website, helps hundreds of small businesses in the Mid-South “lower their risks, improve their efficiencies, and thereby enable their businesses to operate more profitably.”
Goodwin PC Services currently leases space at 8804 Carmona Street, west of Highway 305 in Olive Branch, where the company has been since 2017, Eason said. The new location will be on Highway 178, off Bethel Road.
“It’ll be a facility where we can continue and ultimately serve our customers’ needs,” Eason said. “It’ll be right at 7,300 square feet and once completed it will be valued at around $1.1 million.”
Goodwin PC Services currently has 16 employees and Eason said he expects with the expansion the company can grow to as many as 30 over the next 7-10 years without any further expansion taking place.
