Garden Club recognizes National Library Week

In recognition of National Library Week, which is April 3-9, JoAn Graham, member of DeSoto Civic Garden Club, presents a lovely floral arrangement  and a new children’s book, “A Journey Home,” written by Sara Memphill, to Caroline Barnett. Caroline is the Head Librarian for the M R Davis Public Library in Southaven. The flower arrangement is composed of sunflowers, red carnations, yellow daisy, purple and lavender mums with assorted greenery.  

“A Journey Home” is a book about a bird migrating through many different places. 

The DeSoto Civic Garden Club is a member of the National Garden Clubs Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc., and the Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc.
