Four Horn Lake officers complete Crisis Intervention Team course

Four Horn Lake police officers completed and graduated from a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team course hosted by the Southaven Police Department, according to a Sept. 25 post from the Horn Lake Police Department.

The department identified the graduates as Officers Hunter, Alexander, Sorrell and Wicks. The training covered specialized techniques for communicating with and de-escalating people experiencing mental health crises or other behavioral health emergencies.
