DuPree retires from Olive Branch Chamber, begins consulting business

June 29, 2025 – Olive Branch Chamber of Commerce CEO/Executive Director Vickie DuPree sent a letter to the membership late last week announcing her retirement from the position. DuPree has been with the Chamber for more than three decades. She added in the email she is starting her own consulting company and assisting chambers of commerce and will also move into consultation with small and medium businesses.

When she started, DuPree said she was “pretty much a one-woman show,” but has valued being part of the city’s growth.

The consulting company, Chamber of Commerce Consulting LLC, will be part of her future time, while spending more time with her three grandchildren “while they are still young, and having more free time to enjoy life to the fullest.”

DuPree believes her experience allows her to offer her acquired expertise to other organizations.

“I believe that there is a niche that I can help fill on a consulting basis with other Chambers in our state to aid them in enhancing all aspects of their Chamber growth, community and business development,” DuPree said. “I have made some wonderful friends on my journey, and I will miss all of you very much and the relationships that we have developed over the years.”
